A Helping Hand for Young Entrepreneurs in Albania
How do you read a balance sheet, a profit & loss statement, or an annual report? And how do you start your own business? These were a few of the questions tackled by the students in Buçimas, Albania, who participated in a workshop intended to foster entrepreneurial spirit, courage, and confidence in their own abilities. The local empowerment pilot was supported by the aid organization Nehemiah Gateway.

The SkaBe team captured first place at the German Finals. With their fully functional prototype, an impressive brand concept, and strong margins, students from the Luise-Henriette-Gymnasium in Berlin convinced the judges that their skateboard mount for bicycles is a winner.

International Finals, Vienna
The team from Vienna's Sir-Karl-Popper-Schule wins at the International Finals at Theresianum in Vienna. It won over the judges with its idea "Lobu"—a service that delivers books from local bookstores to buyers. The judges were convinced by the scalability of the concept and were impressed that the students had already gotten their business idea started.
